Should you be using an aXcelerate Partner to help your business grow?
It can be helpful to work with a trusted partner when it comes to managing and optimising your Student and Learning Management Systems.
In June, aXcelerate’s Founding Director, Julie Verner-Mackay hosted a Lunch and Learn for the company’s female employees. Having previously delivered her ‘Women as Leaders’ programs under the VM Learning banner (the company that aXcelerate took its foundations from!) to more than 5 000 women nationally, Julie was passionate about delivering the same content to her staff.
One-quarter of the aXcelerate workforce identifies as female and hold roles across Development, Product Design, Onboarding, Quality Assurance, Finance, Sales, Marketing and Corporate Services. The session discussed ideas of what leadership is, what feminism means, how women can support each other in the workforce, as well as some personal leadership goal setting and planning.
At aXcelerate, we’ve always been strongly committed to equality, and this session is just one of the many ways we have taken action on building unity and inclusion. With a focus on leadership, we will continue to take collective action as an organisation to shine a light on important issues and further our equality efforts.
