aXcelerate and The Learning Resources Group (TLRG) have announced a partnership that means RTOs can now buy LLND, powered by TLRG’s LLN Robot, directly from aXcelerate under a new partnership agreement. This now gives aXcelerate customers a direct way to bring the language, literacy, numeracy and digital (LLND) assessment experience directly into the enrolment journey, so RTOs can see where learners may need support before training begins.
The partnership was announced at Velg Training’s National VET Conference 2026 on the Gold Coast.
Learners complete their LLND assessment as part of enrolment. RTOs then see each learner’s results against the requirements of their intended course, showing where support may be needed.
The solution brings together two established assessments from TLRG: LLN Robot, aligned to the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), and Digital Robot, which assesses digital capability. With both connected to the aXcelerate enrolment journey, RTOs can understand each learner’s LLND needs early and plan the right support from the start.
“RTOs have told us they want LLND to be part of enrolment, not a separate task,”
“Partnering with TLRG lets us offer a proven specialist solution, built into the platform our customers already use. It helps RTOs run their whole learner journey in one place and makes it easier to understand learners’ needs from day one.” - David O’Rourke, CEO of aXcelerate
“Understanding a learner’s skills is most useful when it helps an RTO decide what support that person needs for their chosen course,”
“By bringing our LLN and digital capability assessments into the aXcelerate enrolment journey, we aim to make those insights easier to access and use, with fewer separate steps for learners and staff.” - Matt Peachey, CEO of The Learning Resources Group

Assessment validation is highly important for RTOs to complete, but many get it wrong and are surprised when auditing assessors come in and find a mountain of issues.

Well-maintained industry currency allows trainers to continuously improve and update their knowledge and skills. RTOs need an intuitive tool that can easily show how they’ve maintained the currency of their trainers’ industry skills and trainer/assessor competencies.
