The aXcelerate Community Spirit

In late March, aXcelerate owners, Reay and Julie Mackay delivered a professional development session to the Lions Club Q1 District Cabinet Members as part of our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. The 30 members are led in their work at the Lions Club by aXcelerate’s Onboarding Consultant, Nicole Phillips, who was recently elected to the position of District Governor Elect for Q1.

The District Q1 Cabinet Training and Planning Day had the theme of “Serve with HEART for 2021” which was inspired by the aXcelerate H.E.A.R.T. values (Honesty, Empathy, Acceptance, Respect and Trust). The participants in the well-received session hold a mix of positions designed in the Q1 team to lead and manage their district in the areas of leadership, marketing, operations, services and membership. The session delivered by Reay and Julie was about Temperaments and Goal Setting, which are valuable tools for improving leadership capabilities.
